CLIENT
Florence Care Homes Ltd, located in Colchester, Essex (CO7 8NN), wanted to find a good solution to cut expenditures on energy while also making their impact on the environment better. Energy costs a lot of money for care facilities because they are open all the time. The management team collaborated with Solar4Good desired a solution that would save money, show social responsibility, and have long-term benefits for the business.
The Project
Solar4Good put in a 23.8 kWp solar PV system on the south and east-facing roof parts of the residence to meet its sustainability goals and daily energy needs. The system was made to be efficient and cost-effective while also fitting in well with the layout of the home.
The technical scope included:
- 56 xJinko 425W solar panels (total capacity of 23.8 kWp)
- 2 × Fox G10.5kW single-phase inverters
- Roof slope: 30° (South and East facing)
- Cost of the project: £21,000
The Solution
Solar4Good oversaw the project from beginning to end, making sure that it went well and didn’t bother residents or workers too much.
Important parts were:
- Dual Orientation Design: Panels are put on both the south- and east-facing sides to make sure they work well in the morning and during the day.
- Proven Reliability:Jinko panels and Fox inverters were chosen since they are efficient and will last for a long time.
- Build that saves money: System designed to get the most value for the money while still satisfying sustainability targets.
- Safe and compliant: Fully installed to UK building and electrical regulations for long-lasting safety and dependability.
The Result
