Jamie is the Roofing Expert at Solar4Good, with more than twenty years spent working on roofs and solar installations. His role is to make sure the roof itself is ready for solar before anything is fixed in place, and that installations don’t compromise the structure or weatherproofing of the property.
He reviews roof type, materials, pitch, and access before installation begins, identifying issues that could cause problems later on if left unaddressed. Jamie works closely with the installation teams on site, advising on fixing methods and mounting approaches that suit the specific roof rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.
Much of Jamie’s work is preventative. By dealing with roofing concerns early and applying proven installation methods, he helps avoid leaks, movement, and long-term damage.
