Mudalagiri Family Home Solar Panel Installation in Kent
Delivering The Future Of Living with Smarter Solar Solutions
Mr Mudalagiri’s Kent home now runs on a 17.6 kWp solar and battery system. The setup lowers energy bills and provides long-term independence from the grid.
When Mr Naveen Mudalagiri decided to invest in solar for his Kent home, his aim was to cut his reliance on the grid and bring down the energy bills that kept rising, and be the proud owner of an energy-efficient home, joining the growing number of UK homeowners investing in energy-efficient houses that cut costs and emissions. This meant getting a system that would serve his family through installation and beyond.
The Project
After properly surveying the property to plan the right energy-efficient improvements to the home, our dedicated team designed and installed a 17.6 kWp solar PV system with hybrid battery storage, tailored to the unique layout of Naveen’s property. Solar panels were fitted across the south, west, and north-west sides of the roof to help capture sunlight from morning through late afternoon — keeping energy production steady all day.
Technical Scope:
40 × Jinko 440W solar panels (17.6 kWp total capacity)
Solar4Good provided an end-to-end service, from survey and design all the way through to installation and handover.
Key Features:
Hybrid Battery Storage – Two FoxESS batteries that store up to 90% of excess generation, for Naveen and his family to use in the evenings
Multi-Roof Orientation – Panels were installed across three directions to help maintain steady production even on cloudy days.
Bird Protection – BirdMesh fitted to keep birds away and ensures the system stays efficient over the long term.
Future-Proof Investment – Designed to expand if the household’s energy needs change or new technology becomes available.
The Result
The system now produces around 19,000 kWh annually, which covers just about 75% of the household’s energy needs.
This installation shows how solar PV with battery storage transforms ordinary properties into truly energy-efficient homes. It demonstrates the long-term benefits of renewable energy for modern energy houses in the UK.
